Child, Youth and Family Drop-in Programs

No registration needed—show up and have fun! Looking for something active for your child or the whole family? Our drop-in programs are a great way to move, play, and connect.


Important info

  • Supervision: Kids 12 and under must come with a caregiver who is 16 or older
  • Equipment: Borrow equipment on a first-come, first-served basis. Just bring your ID to swap!
  • Court time: Racquetball and squash courts are limited to 1 hour if others are waiting
  • Support persons: Free entry for caregivers who are helping a paying participant
  • 60+ members: Check the Older Adults Drop-In Program for offerings
  • Adults: Check the Adults Drop-In Program for offerings
  • Municipal fee assistance: Helps everyone in Niagara Falls participate. If money’s tight, apply today so you and your family can enjoy programs like swimming, skating, and more.

  • Drop-in fees are available for one-time visits
  • Day passes are also available and include access to drop-in programs and the pool, but they do not include the indoor play structure
  • These programs are priced according to the Schedule of Fees

Badminton (all ages)

  • Monday:  6:15 pm to 8:45 pm
  • Saturday: 7:00 am to 10:30 am
  • Sunday: 1:00 pm to 4:45 pm (Cancelled on Sunday, February 1, 2026)

Basketball (all ages)

  • Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday: 3:30 pm to 5:45 pm
  • Friday youth basketball (under 16) from 3:30 pm to 6:30 pm
  • Friday basketball (16+) from 6:45 pm to 8:45 pm
  • Saturday: 1:45 pm to 4:45 pm 
  • Cost: Check the fees; you can also get a $20 card for five drop-in basketball visits

Indoor play structure (age 4 to 12)

Caregiver supervision is required at all times.

  • Monday to Thursday from 8:30 am to 8:30 pm
  • Friday 10:30 am to 4:00 pm, and 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm
  • Saturday and Sunday, 8:30 am to 10:30 am, and 3:15 pm to 4:45 pm

Preschool Drop-in Play Space (age 2 to 6)

A relaxed, drop-in preschool program designed for little ones to move, explore, and have fun in a safe gym space. Geared for children ages 2-6, this unstructured playtime helps develop coordination, confidence, and social skills. No registration is required. Just drop in and let the fun begin!

Ages: 2 years to 6 years
Cost: $2.50 per child
Schedule: Saturdays 8:30 am to 12:30 pm

Children must be accompanied by a caregiver who is at least 16 years of age.

Table tennis (all ages)

  • Thursday from 4:15 pm to 8:45 pm

Volleyball (all ages)

Wednesdays:

  • Youth Volleyball (U16) from 3:30 pm to 6:30 pm (until January 28)
  • Volleyball (16+) from 6:45 pm to 8:45 pm

Changes to volleyball starting February 4, 2026:

Pre-registration is required for volleyball programs prior to arrival. Walk-ins will only be accepted if spaces are available.

  • Youth Volleyball (U16) from 3:30 pm to 5:15 pm or 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm
  • Volleyball (16+) from 7:15 pm to 8:45 pm
  • Individuals may register for one time slot per night
  • Registrations open one week in advance
  • Three courts are available with a maximum of 48 participants per time slot
  • Participants must rotate and share the space to ensure that everyone has an opportunity to play
  • Cancellations: No refunds or rescheduling are permitted within 24 hours. Cancellations made more than 24 hours in advance may be rescheduled or credited to your account.
