  • Alchemy Yoga Classes: In partnership with Alchemy Yoga and Wellness Studio, we have yoga classes for youth of all ages, from infant to teen! Alchemy Yoga strives to provide you a serene, safe space to get to know your body; because that is what Yoga is about! With small class sizes everyone from all walks of life can feel accepted and authentic here. You Belong!
    • Date: 6-week programs, starting January 16, & February 26, 2024
    • Cost: $80
    • Session 1: Starting the week of January 15 
      • Baby and Me (Newborn – 18 months) - Tuesdays, 9:00-9:45am. 
      • Toddler and Me (19 months - 3yrs) - Saturdays, 10:30am-11:15am.
      • Little Yogi’s (4yrs – 9yrs) - Tuesdays, 4:00-4:45pm.
      • Preteen/Teen (10yrs-17yrs) - Wednesdays, 7:30-8:15pm.
      • Prenatal (expecting mothers) - Tuesdays, 5:00pm-5:45pm
    • Session 2: Starting the week of February 26 - April 1

  • Kidz Who Can Coding: Learning to code on a computer is similar to learning a language! Young children are able to pick these skills up very quickly, especially when they think they are just playing and having fun. KIDZ WHO CAN is a local Niagara business that provides workshops for young people, teaching coding fundamentals and basic graphic design skills. Children use prompts and activities to express their creativity through storytelling, animation, and visual design all while creating their own video games and projects! 
    • Date: 6-week programs, Mondays starting January 15, 2023
    • Cost: $125
    • Session 1: Mondays, January 15 - February 26 (no class Family Day)
      • Junior (6yrs -9yrs) - 4:30pm-5:20pm. 
      • Senior (8yrs -12yrs) - 5:30pm-6:20pm.
      • PYTHON Coding (8yrs+) - 6:30pm-7:20pm
    • Session 2: Mondays, March 4 - April 15 (no class Easter Monday)
      • Junior (6yrs -9yrs) - 4:30pm-5:20pm. 
      • Senior (8yrs -12yrs) - 5:30pm-6:20pm.
      • PYTHON Coding (8yrs+) - 6:30pm-7:20pm
  • Carousel Players After School Drama Program: Carousel Players is excited to bring their After School Drama Program to the MacBain Community Centre this Winter! Professional artist educators will guide participants through games, activities, and experiences that teach them individual skills, but also give them the chance to make new friends. Join us as we enter imaginary worlds through improvisation, storytelling, and more.
    • Date: 8-week program, Wednesdays starting January 17, 2024
    • Cost: $110
    • Classes:
      • Junior (7yrs - 9yrs) - 4:30pm-5:30pm
      • Intermediate (10yrs -12yrs) - 5:45pm-6:45pm
  • The Martial Arts Center Karate: In partnership with The Martial Arts Center, this 10-week program teaches Goju Ryu Karate, a traditional style of Okinawan martial arts. Goju is a well-balanced system which is great for youth of all ages. At the youth level, the program teaches the fundamentals of Karate, with a focus on improved fitness, coordination, courtesy, self-confidence, and control. Participants will have the opportunity to demonstrate their skills and test to advance in belt levels near the end of the session. A uniform t-shirt is required and can be purchased from the Center at the first class for $25.

  • RoboThink Robotics:   RoboThink offers an extraordinary educational adventure in robotics and engineering in over 25 countries! Our fun and dynamic programs focus on implementing robotics and STEM through practical and adapted approaches to learning.  Beyond robotics, nurture self-confidence, creativity, spatial awareness, critical thinking and problem solving skills.  Join us for a journey of fun and endless STEM learning possibilities with two awesome themes available; Engineer Race Cars:  Hit the racetrack with RoboThink! In this program, students will not only build and race a variety of different race cars, they’ll also be learning about different parts of a car like the transmission and pistons; Battle Robots: Let’s duke it out, RoboThink-style! In this program, students will be building and customizing a variety of different battle robots, then competing in a wide range of different activities. By using gears, motors, axles and our own special hardware, your child will be in for the battle of a lifetime!
    • Date: 7-week programs, Saturdays & Wednesday starting January 17 & 20
    • Cost: $270
    • Classes: Starting the week of January 14
      • Engineer Race Cars – Junior (ages 5-7) – Saturdays, 9:30-11:00am (no class Feb 24)
      • Engineer Race Cars – Intermediate (ages 8-12) – Saturdays, 11:15am-12:45pm (no class Feb 24)
      • Battle Robots – Junior/Intermediate (ages 5-12) – Wednesdays, 5:30-7:00pm
  • Sportball Multi-Sport: Multi-Sport classes keep children moving and engaged and send them home with new skills from a different sport each class. These well-rounded classes provide an amazing foundation for a lifetime of active living bundling soccer, baseball, basketball, football, hockey, volleyball, golf and tennis into one comprehensive package. Sportball Methodology is designed to support three key areas of early childhood development: sport skills, pro-social skills, motor skills.
    • Date: 8-week program, Saturdays starting January 13, 2023
    • Cost: $135

      • Parent and Tot (16 months - 4yrs) - Sundays, 9:00-9:45am. 
      • Parent and Tot (16 months - 4yrs) - Sundays, 9:45-10:30am. 
      • Junior (4yrs - 6yrs) - Sundays, 10:30-11:30am.
      • Senior (7yrs -10yrs) - Sundays, 11:30-12:30pm. 
  • Home Alone Course: Home Alone Program is designed to provide children 10 years of age (or turning 10 this year) and older with the necessary skills and knowledge to be safe and responsible when home alone for short periods of time. It will help them understand how to prevent problems, handle real-life situations, and keep them safe and constructively occupied. All required materials are included in the registration fee.

    • Cost: $50
  • Babysitting Course: The Canada Safety Council Babysitting course covers everything from managing difficult behaviours to essential content on leadership and professional conduct as a babysitter. Aspiring babysitters also learn basic first aid skills. All required materials are included in the registration fee.

We want everyone in our community to have the chance to participate. Money should not be a barrier!

Refund Policy 

  • For Programs, Courses, and Special Events with two or fewer classes/sessions:
    • A refund will be issued if it is more than 48 hours from the start of the course
    • No refunds will be issued within 48 hours from the start of the course
  • For Programs, Courses, and Special Events with three or more classes/sessions:
    • A refund will be issued if the class has not started
    • Once the class has started, registration fees will be refunded on a pro-rated basis
    • No refunds will be issued after the third class
  • Late Enrollment: Joining after the first class will only result in a prorated fee if the program is delivered by Niagara Falls staff (ex. Swim Lessons) and not if delivered by a 3rd party provider (ex. Carousel Players Drama Program)  
  • All refunds and transfers are subject to a $10.00 administration fee, per participant
  • A full 100% refund is given if the program is cancelled by the City of Niagara Falls

Drop In Programs

No need to register! Just drop on by for open programs that anyone can enjoy! Equipment available to borrow for any drop in program. ID is required for equipment.

Supervision Requirements: For All Ages Drop In Programs, children under 12 must be accompanied by a caregiver who is a minimum 16 years of age.

Support persons: A volunteer/caregiver/personal support worker accompanying a paying person requiring support enters free of charge.

Day Passes available: Get access to all the great drop in programs plus the pool for only $10 per child / $15 per adult / $25 per family (excludes indoor play structure)
