For Love of Country and Men: Woman at War - Winter Film SeriesJanuary 30 @ 6:45pm WW II: Recruiting Canadian Women to Serve, a presentation by Joan Nicks. Screened in theatres and community halls across the country, recruitment films portrayed women as a special class crossing social lines to perform wartime roles. Presentation illustrated with visual materials of the period.
