They provide monthly programsy between September and June and have an annual short story contest for fiction writers with the top 15 winners published in an anthology. The City of Niagara Falls 4th Annual Art Show & Competition will take place at the Victoria Avenue Public Library August 2nd-29th, 2019. The competition is open to all Niagara Falls residents and students over the age of 18. There is no fee to enter; however all participants are asked to register online in advance (registration will close two days before the show). Delivery of all art on Aug 1.

Local Indigenous beadwork artist Sam Thomas creates this year's community art project which will be unveiled at Niagara Falls Night of Art on September 19. Touching on the issues of environment, land, water, & treaties with Indigenous nations. Thomas is a member of the Lower Cayuga Band of the Iroquois Nation and endeavors to break down cultural divisions through sharing knowledge and the arts.

The Canada-Ukraine Foundation presents the Holodomor Mobile Classroom. The Mobile Classroom is a 40 foot RV that has been redesigned into a state-of-the-art technological learning environment. Inside the classroom are five videos, lasting approximately 15 to 50 minutes. Entrance to the Holodomor Mobile Classroom is free all day.
