NIAGARA FALLS, ON - The City of Niagara Falls is pleased to announce the recipients of the 2023 Summer Trillium Awards, presented by Niagara Peninsula Energy.
The Trillium Awards program promotes and encourages community pride through the recognition of excellence in landscape design, maintenance and beautification across the City. This year, 138 properties participated in the program.
The Trillium Awards Sub-Committee, comprised of a panel of horticulture enthusiasts, reviewed nominations and awarded a Gold, Silver or Bronze rating based on photo submissions. Scoring criteria ranged from 0-100 points, assessed across six (6) categories:
- Principles of Design
- Turf
- Quality of Maintenance & Plant Diversity
- Hardscaping Features
- Unique Features
- Environmental Issues

The Trillium Awards ceremony took place on Wednesday, September 13, at the Gale Centre, sponsored by Kathy Tsiantoulas and Daniela Mitrovic, the Property Girls from Re/Max Realty Ltd.
