NIAGARA FALLS, ON - The City of Niagara Falls is announcing an open call for local farmers, growers, bakers and makers, as well as musicians and spoken word artists, to be a part of upcoming cultural initiatives across the City in 2023.

Call for Market Vendors
Starting this Spring, the Niagara Falls Farmer’s Market will move to its new home at The Exchange, Niagara Falls’ new 10,000 square foot arts & culture hub in the Main St. & Ferry St. neighbourhood. The Farmer’s Market will run Saturdays from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. at The Exchange.

The City is also seeking vendors to be a part of a new Supper Market series at The Exchange, taking place on Wednesday evenings beginning this Spring.

Local farmers, growers, makers and bakers, and food trucks interested in participating in the 2023 market season are encouraged to apply by the April 10th deadline at nfexchange.ca/market

Call for Musicians & Spoken Word Artists
The City of Niagara Falls is also calling all local musicians and spoken word artists to apply for a variety of opportunities.

Trail Mix
Trail Mix is an auditory accompaniment offered to City’s Millennium Trail network users. Signs featuring QR codes located along the trail system link to original music, comedy or spoken word performed by Niagara Falls residents. Visit 2023 Calls To Artists for more details before the April 3rd application deadline.

The Exchange
With The Exchange opening this Spring, local musicians, DJs, bands and singers will have the opportunity to perform at multiple events, including market days. Prospective talent can join the City of Niagara Falls musicians database at Niagara Falls Musician Database  before the May 1st deadline.

About The Exchange:
The Exchange is a brand-new, indoor/outdoor multipurpose event space featuring a market, cafe, artist & woodworking studios, an art gallery and more. The venue, adjacent to the Niagara Falls History Museum, will be a popular event and rental space in Niagara Falls, and the epicentre of the City’s arts & culture scene, opening in Spring 2023.
