OLDER ADULTS 60+ ACTIVE LIVING FAIR

NIAGARA FALLS, ON - On Tuesday, March 5, from 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm, the MacBain Community Centre, located at 7150 Montrose Road, is hosting a free Active Living Fair. Senior Active Living Fairs promote healthy and active lifestyles among seniors aged 60 and over.

The event will bring together seniors, local organizations, and service providers to share valuable information and resources that support our senior community. Tours of MacBain will be available where attendees can learn about the diverse range of programs and services tailored specifically for individuals aged 60 and above in our community.

Demonstrations/Presentations include:

  • Free refreshments 
  • Free hearing tests
  • Urban Pole Walking demonstration
  • The Caregiver Association
  • Fraud and scams (common scams, warning signs and tips)
  • Big Brothers Big Sisters
  • Free parking and more!

Active Living Fairs - Older Adult Centres’ Association of Ontario (OACAO) Ministry for Seniors and Accessibility (MSAA)
Seniors Active Living Fairs is a public education initiative developed in partnership with the Older Adult Centres’ Association of Ontario (OACAO) Ministry for Seniors and Accessibility (MSAA). The Fairs are accessible and increase awareness about available programs and services for seniors in their communities. They are a forum to build community partnerships, share knowledge about healthy aging and encourage participation in active lifestyles.
