NIAGARA FALLS, ON - The City of Niagara Falls is hosting a variety of activities for this year’s March Break. Learn, play, and explore locally from March 13 to 19 at the MacBain Community Centre, Gale Centre Arena and the Niagara Falls History Museum. 

Niagara Falls History Museum: Mad for Science
The Niagara Falls Museum offers a variety of events and activities that provide a fun-filled learning experience, including the return of Mad For Science, a series of interactive shows where you can laugh and learn. 

Shows are presented daily from March 14 to 17:

  • Where: The Niagara Falls History Museum (5810 Ferry Street)
  • When: March 14 - 17, 11:00 am and 1:00 pm
  • Who: All ages
  • Price: Members: $5 / Non-members: $7 per person

Your ticket to the show gains you admission into the Museum, where you can join us in the galleries for crafting, a scavenger hunt, and some history. Finish your experience at 3 pm with a daily viewing of Puss in Boots: The Last Wish.

MacBain Community Centre: Reptile Kingdom
Learn about the fascinating lives of reptiles and amphibians and their importance to our ecosystem. Interact with live reptiles and amphibians!

  • Where: MacBain Community Centre (7150 Montrose Road)
  • When: March 17, 12:00 pm and 2:00 pm
  • Who: Ages 4 - 12
  • Price: $12.50
  • Registration is required: 
    • Register for the 12:00 pm session here.
    • Register for the 2:00 pm session here.

MacBain Community Centre: Drop-In Activities
Pop by for family-focused drop-in activities at the MacBain Community Centre (7150 Montrose Road), including activities anyone can enjoy, like badminton, basketball, table tennis, an indoor playground, and more!

Swimming
The MacBain Community Centre pool will offer leisure, lane and open swim this March Break. Day passes are available for drop-in programs & the pool.

MacBain Community Centre Library Programs

Skating at the Gale Centre and Chippawa Willoughby Memorial Arenas
Grab your skates and some friends: Niagara Falls arenas will offer a special March Break schedule, including Tiny Tots, Adult, and Public skating at Gale Centre Arena and Public skating at Chippawa Willoughby Memorial Arena.
