Special One-Day Wedding Event Planned For Valentines Day At Niagara Falls City Hall & History Museum

Prospective newlyweds are invited to book their civil wedding ceremony on February 14th and enjoy a unique Valentine’s Day-themed wedding experience.

Niagara Falls, ON – The City of Niagara Falls is inviting residents and visitors to “Take The Plunge” with their significant other on Tuesday, February 14 at City Hall or the Niagara Falls History Museum.

The City’s Clerks Department, which processes marriage licenses and performs daily civil wedding ceremonies in Council Chambers at City Hall, will be offering an elevated wedding experience for Valentine’s Day on Tuesday, February 14.A limited number of hour-long time slots are available at City Hall and the Niagara Falls History Museum. Complimentary Valentine’s Day programming includes:

  • Valentine’s Day-themed flowers and décor
  • A complimentary sparkling beverage toast for the couple
  • A photographer to capture a memory from your ceremony

Couples can arrange their time slot in advance of February 14th by contacting the Office of the City Clerk at [email protected] or 905-356-7521 ext. 0, while space remains.

The cost of a marriage license is $140 and the fee for the wedding ceremony is $300 (plus HST). If choosing the Niagara Falls History Museum for your ceremony, a wedding license must be obtained at City Hall, prior to your ceremony’s start time.
