Warming stations opening in response to extreme cold weather event

In response to the extreme cold temperatures, the City of Niagara Falls has opened two warming stations.

The following warming stations will be open today from 10AM to 4PM:

Niagara Falls Public Library, Victoria Avenue Branch (4848 Victoria Avenue)
The Gale Centre (5152 Thorold Stone Road) 
Extended day shelters are also available at:

Third Space (4345 Queen Street) from 7:30AM to 11:30AM, 7 days a week
The Hub (4333 Queen Street) from 1:00PM to 5:00PM, 7 days a week
Niagara Falls Transit offers free trips to bus stops near warming stations during extreme cold weather events.

Should the extreme cold persist, the City will keep the warming stations open, on a day-by-day basis. For more information on extreme cold relief resources, including overnight shelters, visit niagarafalls.ca
