Early Deadline, Plus New Microgrants for 2021 Niagara Falls Cultural Development Fund

Are you a Niagara Falls based artist, organization or collective? The City of Niagara Falls is launching its annual call for submissions for the Niagara Falls Cultural Development Fund (NFCDF).

“The NFCDF is an annual grant for local projects to take place from March through to February of each year, “ said Clark Bernat the Museums and Culture Manager for Niagara Falls. “Project proposals can range from exhibitions to events such as walking tours, workshops, panel discussions, lectures, public programs, art installations, exhibition tours, heritage-related ideas, community celebrations, interactive experiences, and performances. We encourage participatory and co-created projects, and collaborative partnerships between organizations, collectives and individuals.”

“We have 2 new items of note for 2021- The Culture Committee has created Microgrants- up to $1000 for artistic/cultural endeavors, with a more streamlined application process. And in order to get the funding to the recipients earlier this year, the applications will be due in December, not the end of January as before.”

Applications are available as of October 20, 2020.
Info session is 6pm November 9, 2020 5810 Ferry Street, Niagara Falls History Museum.
Applications will be due December 7, 2020 at 11:59pm.
