Santa Claus Parade 2024 presented by Ontario Power Generation and Niagara Peninsula Energy | November 16, 4:00 p.m.
As always, the parade will feature bands, floats, characters, performers and, of course, Santa Claus! See below for the official route. The parade will run rain or shine.
Project SHARE will kick off our Parade by collecting food and monetary donations to support residents in need this holiday season!

Helping make the downtown more festive, lighting and decorations on Queen Street will be installed by Beam Power and Utilities Ltd.
Niagara Health Foundation Tree Lighting | 5:15 p.m.
Immediately following the parade, the Niagara Health Foundation Tree Lighting will take place in Centennial Square at City Hall. Sponsored by Alectra, the tree lighting officially kicks off Niagara Health Foundation’s annual Celebration of Lights to raise funds for urgently needed equipment at our local hospitals.
Santa Claus Meet & Greet Presented by Niagara Helicopters | 5:30 p.m. (immediately following the tree lighting)
After the tree lighting, at approximately 5:30 p.m., residents are invited to remain in Centennial Square for a meet & greet with Santa and Mrs. Claus, presented by Niagara Helicopters. The event will feature live entertainment, hot chocolate, food trucks and more!
Holiday Cookie Giveaway, presented by Hodgson Custom Rolling Inc.! Free cookies will be handed out, courtesy of Hodgson Custom Rolling Inc., while quantities last.

Route & Road Closures
Spread your holiday cheer downtown Niagara Falls! Before the Santa Claus Parade this Saturday, visit Queen Steet to explore the various restaurants and shops and get a head start on your holiday shopping!
While Queen St. will be closed to vehicular traffic, there are ample side-street parking options and City-owned parking lots available in the downtown core.
The parade will commence on Victoria Avenue at Armoury Street, heading northbound on Victoria to Valley Way. The route will then veer from Valley Way onto Queen Street, ending at Centennial Square in front of City Hall.
Deck the Halls Holiday Market | November 17, 11:00 am - 5:00 pm
The City of Niagara Falls is hosting a new holiday market, 'Deck the Halls', at The Niagara Falls Exchange (5943 Sylvia Place) on Sunday, November 17, from 11 am to 5 pm. The festive event will be packed with family fun, including a Polar Express train, kid’s activities, a s’mores station, and, of course, Santa Claus! Bring your festive spirit for a day of holiday shopping & activities!
