Disposal of surplus goods through public auction
The City and other public sector agencies sell items they no longer need, and you can bid on them.
We sometimes post surplus goods for auction based on their type and condition. To see these items, create an account on the GovDeals website, where you’ll find items from many agencies. All items are sold "as is, where is," so it’s up to you to review their condition and details before bidding.
By placing a bid, you are creating a contract with yourself and the seller, and you cannot take it back. When the City posts items for auction, we may cancel or pause the auction at any time before it ends.
