Ready to immerse yourself in a FREE evening of local art, music, performance, and food?! Niagara Falls Night of Art has it all! Come join us at the 8th Annual Niagara Falls Night of Art as we celebrate local musicians, artists, and the vibrant culture of Niagara! This year’s event will be held on Thursday September 19, 2019 from 6 pm-10 pm at the Niagara Falls History Museum, Niagara Falls Farmers Market and surrounding areas.
The free event will feature visual art displays, live music on the main stage and throughout the Museum, art installations indoors and outdoors, live art demonstrations, a caricaturist, interactive activities and more. Art by more than fifteen vendors will be available for sale by cash only. Admission to the Niagara Falls History Museum Galleries is also included.
Live music will include the joyful and exuberant bluegrass mountain music of The Golden Horseshoe Revival, and local fan favourite, The Roxwells, a high energy performance of classic rock and roll. As well as JIN is a trio based in Niagara Falls, best described as a mixture of funk, rock and blues. Also performing are Junk & Juice, Alexa Fraser, Egan Henderson, Trio Corn Brio and Sara Lou Stuart, among others.
Art installations will once again feature works by Emily Andrews, who works in a variety of media including oil painting, collage, installation art, and sculpture. Other art installations showcase the works of Claire Anderson, Juice Willis Entertainment, Gabrielle Fischer Horvath, Heather Fraser & Sarah Carter, Dougie Hayz, Adam Hughes, Ashley Marazzo and Joanne Ring.
Additional art displays, interactives and vendors are also on hand with Monica & Rusty, Mary Burke, Eddie Figueroa, Hether Klesh, Caroline Holroyd, Shelley Locke, Rick Rogers, Jaswinder Singh, Janet Zylstra, Wendell Zylstra and many others.
Be sure to come hungry and purchase dinner from a local restaurant or from an onsite food vendor. Featured food vendors include The Wandering Gourmet, Niagara Samosa Factory, Tamales Mexico, Awsum Day Café, and Niagara College Brewery and Winery. The Museum’s Courtyard will be licensed and serving craft beer and wine.
