Want to play a game or host a tournament? You can book a sports field by the hour or for the day. We have grass and turf fields for soccer, baseball, football, cricket, and a track at Oakes Park that you can book for track and field events.

How to book a sports field
The park season is from May to October. Book fields well in advance of your event.
- Call 905-356-7521 x 5601, email [email protected], or visit us at the Gale Centre
- Pay the fees. We accept cash, Visa, Mastercard or cheques payable to “City of Niagara Falls”

- Field lighting is charged separately
- Seasonal/league groups are invoiced monthly
- Occasional rental payments are due 10 days before the booking date
Field closures
Sometimes we have to close sports fields quickly due to bad weather or maintenance. If you’ve made a booking, stay informed by calling the field closure hotline at 905-356-7521 x 3399. The hotline is updated by 3 pm during bad weather.
