The City of Niagara Falls has many facilities available for rent. You can rent skating rinks, courts, the gymnasium, parks, sports fields, meeting rooms, and more! Let us host your event at the Museum or the Exchange if you want an artistic setting. All City facilities are smoke-free.

Gymnasium rentals
Location: MacBain Community Centre, 7150 Montrose Road, Niagara Falls
Gym layout: We offer a full-sized gymnasium that can be divided into thirds.
Reservations: You can book the gymnasium in person, by email [email protected], or call 905-356-7521 x 3330.
Rental rates:
- HST applies to all gymnasium rentals
- Insurance is required and can be purchased at the time of booking
- Not-for-profit organizations pay half the regular rental rate, but some restrictions may apply
Ice rentals
Book a rink for games, practices, hockey school, skating instruction, tournaments or special events.
We offer professional-quality ice surfaces for sports and events. Our two arenas in Niagara Falls have five ice surfaces in total. We also have rooms to rent in the arenas.
Racquetball and squash court rentals
Location: MacBain Community Centre, 7150 Montrose Road, Niagara Falls
Courts: Two racquetball courts and one squash court for drop-in programs and rentals.

Rental rates: HST applies to all court rentals. Insurance is required and can be purchased at the time of booking.
MacBain Community Centre room rentals

Rental rates:
- Room rental rates: Rooms can be rented by the hour for for the day (maximum 10 hours inclluding set up/take down)
- Payment: Payment is due at the time of booking. HST applies to all room rentals
- Insurance: Insurance is required and can be purchased at the time of booking. Insurance varies and is based on the type of activity
- Cleaning/damage deposit: A $50 deposit is required for birthday parties, showers, other celebrations, and large rentals. The deposit will be returned upon inspection of the room at the end of the party. Please visit the customer service desk
- Refunds: $20.81 plus HST administration fee on refunds for cancellations received a minimum of 14 days before the event. 50% refund if cancelled 4 to 13 days before the event. 0% refund if cancelled within 72 hours of the event
- Alcohol: Organizations serving alcoholic beverages must comply with the City’s Alcohol Risk Management Policy
Rooms:
- MacBain Community Boardroom: Maximum 16 people, includes Wi-Fi and projector screen
- MacBain Multi-purpose Room A: 641 square feet. Seating arrangement: Theatre (30), classroom (25), banquet (20), U-shape (20), or boardroom (20)
- Coronation Room: 2,173 square feet. Seating arrangement: Theatre (50), classroom (30), banquet (30), U-shape (25), or boardroom (25).
- MacBain Multi-purpose Room D and E: 2,996 square feet. Seating arrangement: Theatre (150), Classroom (100), banquet (100), U-shape (60), or boardroom (60)
- MacBain Multi-purpose Room F: 1,012 square feet. Seats 20 to 40 people

Smoke-free facilities
We care about keeping our outdoor spaces clean, healthy, and enjoyable for everyone. That’s why smoking isn’t allowed in or around public spaces. This includes city parks, recreational facilities, buildings and parking lots, areas around playing fields, playgrounds, pools, splash pads and trails.
