Is there an artwork/song/written piece you are most proud of? Why?

My MFA thesis exhibition at York University was a labour of love throughout the pandemic. I am proud to have been able to complete my masters covering a difficult topic that is close to my heart.

What inspires you?

Current feminist writing (Lindy West, Roxanne Gay), forgotten female artists (Emma Kuntz, Hilda Af Klint, Howardena Pindell,) and colour.

My art journals, collating materials, and paint.

is there an element of art you enjoy working with most? why?

I love texture and abstracted forms. It is important to build up layers of textures to give a piece of work depth.

I started in high school, with the influence of my parents. My father was an art teacher and my mother, an artist.
