The travelling exhibit will feature over 30 thought-provoking photographs and stories of people and their amazing tattoos.
NIAGARA FALLS, ON - From January 20 until May 5, 2024, the Wellington County Museum and Archives travelling exhibit ‘My Story, My Tattoo’ will take over the Ontario Power Generation Gallery at the Niagara Falls History Museum.
Tattoos are living images that reveal important stories about our residents, our community, and the tattoo phenomenon. My Story, My Tattoo will feature 32 photographs and stories of people and their amazing tattoos. The participants range in age from 26 to 89 years, live throughout Wellington County, and represent different walks of life - from cancer survivors to teachers and their students, a firefighter, and a farmer.
Chris Piccinetti, a Guelph photographer and graphic designer for the County of Wellington, photographed the inspiring images.
The exhibit will open on Saturday, January 20, 2024 and be on display until May 5, 2024. Access to the exhibit is included in regular museum admission. For admission pricing and History Museum hours, visit nfexchange.ca/museum.
