About Line of Duty Death Memorial Ceremonies
The first Line of Duty Death dedication ceremony was held on September 11, 2018, along with the unveiling of the memorial. Since that time, 14 Niagara Falls Firefighters have been memorialized. Although a Line of Duty Death could mean that a firefighter lost their life while on duty, all 14 fallen firefighters have passed from work-related cancer.
