NIAGARA FALLS, ON - The City of Niagara Falls announces that City Hall will be closed to the public beginning Monday, July 21, 2025, as part of our commitment to enhancing customer service through renovations. This temporary closure is intended to improve service delivery and create a better experience for residents.
A partial reopening is scheduled for Monday, September 15, 2025, with access to the Council Chambers and select departmental services. Full public access and all services are expected to resume on Monday, October 20, 2025.
Residents can still contact City staff for guidance and assistance during the renovation by calling 905-356-7521 or visiting our website at niagarafalls.ca.
Many services will also remain available online or at alternative locations, including:
- MacBain Community Centre (7150 Montrose Road)
- Wayne Thomson Building (Finance and Clerks Department - 4343 Morrison Street)
Additionally, some departments will remain accessible at City Hall by appointment only. Departments available by appointment include:
- Business Development & Small Business Enterprise Centre
- Corporate Services
- Information Systems
- Legal Services
- Procurement
- Realty Services
- Human Resources
- Mayor and CAO's Office
- Municipal Works - Asset Management
Please note that the Council meetings scheduled for July 29 and August 26, 2025, will be relocated to the Niagara Falls Exchange, located at 5943 Sylvia Place. Residents are encouraged to visit the Council Schedule for more information.
