NIAGARA FALLS, ON - The City of Niagara Falls is inviting residents to Firemen’s Park on Saturday, July 1, from 11 am to 4 pm to celebrate Canada Day. Visit niagarafalls.ca/canadaday for complete details.
Live Music & Entertainment
The free admission event will feature five musical acts throughout the day on the Amphitheater Stage, headlined by The Trip, a Niagara-based Tragically Hip tribute band.
The Kids Zone Stage, presented by Ontario Power Generation, will host interactive performances, including a Toy Story meet & greet, science and magic shows, and more.
All-Ages Activities
In true Canadian fashion, a synthetic ice rink will be installed at Firemen’s Park for residents to skate, with skate rentals available. Outdoor curling and axe throwing (ages 8+) will also be at the event.
Kids Programming
In addition to the Kids Zone Stage, there will be no shortage of fun and engaging activities for children, including a 15,000-piece LEGO zone, a 50’ obstacle course, inflatables, face painting, balloons, mascots, and more.
Food & Drink
Over ten food trucks and food stations will be set up at Firemen’s Park, including a licensed beer & seltzer garden featuring Blackburn Brewing.
Canada Day cupcakes will be served to the first 500 attendees, while quantities remain.
Shuttle Busses
Shuttle busses will be operating from City Hall, MacBain Community Centre, Gale Centre, Club Italia and Niagara Square. Visit niagarafalls.ca/canadaday for a complete schedule.
