NIAGARA FALLS, ON - The City of Niagara Falls is excited to introduce the Municipal Fee Assistance Pilot Program, a financial assistance program for Niagara Falls youth interested in staying active and getting involved in community recreation.

Through the Municipal Fee Assistance Pilot Program, residents of Niagara Falls ages 17 and under, whose household income falls below the corresponding before-tax Low Income Cut-Off (LICO) for their family size, are eligible to receive a 50% discount on recreation programs overseen by the City of Niagara Falls Recreation, Culture and Facilities Department.

Each child may apply for assistance for up to four recreation programs each calendar year, one program per season.

Qualifying families are also eligible to receive a Free Activity Pass for access to open swim and public skating at municipal locations.

Online applications for the Municipal Fee Assistance Pilot Program are accepted year-round at niagarafalls.ca. Hard copies can be made available upon request.

Further details, including specific eligibility requirements and information regarding the application process, can be found at niagarafalls.ca.
