NIAGARA FALLS, ON - Get ready for an action-packed Canada Day long weekend in Niagara Falls!

The City of Niagara Falls will be offering a variety of free events and activities throughout the weekend:

Canada Day Parade

Festivities kick off on Friday, July 1st with the annual Canada Day Parade, sponsored by Ontario Power Generation.

  • When: Friday, July 1st
  • Where: The parade starts at Victoria Avenue & Armoury Street and heads north on Victoria Avenue, turns right on Valley Way, then continues down Queen Street, ending at Ontario Avenue.
  • Time: 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
  • Donate: Project Share will be collecting donations along the parade route - so please remember to bring your non-perishable food items! 

Niagara Falls Museums

  • When: Friday, July 1st
  • Where: All Niagara Falls Museums
  • Time: 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
  • Admission: FREE at all Niagara Falls Museums
  • Activities: Niagara Falls History Museum will offer Canada Day themed activities and games

City of Niagara Falls Outdoor Pools

  • When: July 1-3 
  • Where: All City of Niagara Falls outdoor pools
  • Time: 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. 
  • Admission: FREE
  • Activities: Games, prizes and complimentary freezies for children

Niagara Falls Farmers' Market

  • When: Saturday, July 2nd
  • Where: MacBain Community Centre, 7150 Montrose Road
  • Time: 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
  • Activities: Live entertainment and Spin-to-Win prizes

The Niagara Falls Farmer's Market is open every Saturday, rain or shine. To learn more, visit niagarafalls.ca/living/market

Gale Centre Arena

  • When: Sunday, July 3rd
  • Where: Gale Centre Arena, 5152 Thorold Stone Road
  • Time: 2:15 p.m. to 4:15 p.m.
  • Admission: FREE public skating for anyone wearing red & white
