"We are thrilled to re-open the New MacBain Community Centre. This has always been a top-tier facility in Niagara Falls, with its grand windows, natural light, unparalleled accessibility and welcoming community feel, the New MacBain Centre is for everyone!  If you haven’t been in a while, come on in!" - Mayor Jim Diodati

In January of 2021, the YMCA permanently left the MacBain Community Centre and the opportunity to create a new operational model arose. After careful consideration, City Council approved the recommendation that the City of Niagara Falls' Recreation and Culture Department operate the Community Centre moving forward.
