Council approved a request from The Dominican Republic communityto approve a flag-raising ceremony at Niagara Falls City Hall on Friday, August 15, 2025, and a special illumination of Niagara Falls with the colours of the flag on Saturday, August 16, 2025, to celebrate their heritage and history.
