The City of Niagara Falls often receives inquiries from people wishing to donate money toward community initiatives including beautification and environmental efforts. The Commemorative Tree & Bench Program presents the opportunity for people to contribute a lasting and positive impact on their local parks, trails and cemeteries. There are a variety of options to consider. Honour the memory of a loved one or celebrate the accomplishment of a friend or family member by acknowledging or commemorating their life.
Your gift is a lasting tribute to the community by enhancing the quality of life for current and future generations. A Tree and/or bench can be donated for life events such as marriages, births, deaths, graduations, anniversaries, birthdays, baptisms, retirements or special events. Whatever the occasion, the legacy is yours to give.
The program contributes in a very special way to the greening and beautification of our city and increases park amenities. Commemorative trees and benches are installed in the Spring and Fall of each year.
Applications for the Commemorative Trees & Bench program are accepted year round. Please complete and submit the 2024 Commemorative Tree and Bench Application Form along with payment to Cemeteries offices located at Fairview Cemetery, 4501 Stanley Avenue.
