Please be advised that the Niagara Region and City of Niagara Falls will be widening and reconstructing the following roads in the City of Niagara Falls under Contract No. 2021-T-269:*Montrose Road (Regional Road 98) from Grassy Brook Road to 450m South of Lyons Creek Road (Regional Road 47)* Lyons Creek Road (Regional Road 47) from Willodell Road to Montrose Road (Regional Road 98)* Biggar Road from Montrose Road (Regional Road 98) to 850m West
This contract will be carried out on behalf of Niagara Region and City of Niagara Falls by Beam-Rankin Joint Venture Ltd. Construction is tentatively scheduled to begin in the coming weeks. Construction is anticipated to be completed by July 2024, weather permitting. The consulting engineer, Parsons Inc., has also been retained to provide construction inspection and administration services. Residents are advised to visit the Niagara Region's website niagararegion.ca/projects/montrose-lyons-creek-ea for upcoming project updates, road closures and related detour routes.
