Hydro One is working in your community to ensure a safe and continued supply of power to the City of Niagara Falls.
To keep the power on, our crews need to make sure a safe distance exists between power lines, trees and other vegetation. This important work also keeps the corridor safe for public use and gives our crews access to the power lines for regular maintenance and emergency repairs.
In order to create a safe distance between vegetation and the power lines, Hydro One will remove trees and other vegetation
that will pose a risk to the electricity system.
As part of this work Hydro One crews will be:
- Removing trees and other vegetation that, when mature, can grow into or near the power lines and towers.
- Trim and remove trees and other vegetation that, when mature, can fall into the power lines and towers.
If work is required on your private property, a Forestry Technician will contact you in advance.
