Culture Committee

The Culture Committee endeavours to promote an awareness of and appreciation for arts, cultural, and heritage activities within our community. The committee looks forward to connecting you with many talented organizations and persons in our city. They host art shows, awards ceremonies, provide funding, hold capacity workshops and have links with various Community Groups. Check out the Culture Committee page for details.

A Culture Plan aims to identify and strengthen the community’s cultural resources, improving awareness, quality of life, and economic growth while offering better opportunities for artists and cultural organizations.

Arts & Culture - Wall of Fame

The Arts & Culture Committee's Purpose is to foster, develop and unite artistic and cultural activities in the community. Through an Arts & Culture Wall of Fame initiative, the community will have the opportunity to celebrate the many outstanding accomplishments of its past and present citizens, as well as the works of art that reflect the best of Niagara Falls. Stamford Collegiate Alumni Association Award in memory of Barbara Frum

First awarded in 1992, the Barbara Frum Award is presented to an individual or an organization who has enhanced the quality of our lives by virtue of their "outstanding contribution to fostering and developing arts and culture opportunities in Niagara Falls.
