How can I help clean up the City?
Each spring, the Park in the City Committee hosts the Community Clean Sweep Event. In addition, dedicated groups wishing to regularly clean a street, park and/or trail are able to adopt an area and will be provided gloves, vests and bags when needed. What are the hours at Oakes Park?
Oakes Park is open daily to the public from 6 a.m. until 9 p.m. Washrooms open at 7 a.m. The Grandstand remains closed for construction as of November 3, 2020 (expected to re-open in the Spring of 2021).
