Municipal staff have been responding to the current weather system affecting our area, treating, and maintaining mainlines during the overnight hours.
Crews commenced a city-wide sanding operation that began at 7:00 a.m. as well as sidewalk routes being plowed and/or salted as part of this operation.
Due to the continuous snow fall, routes will be revisited to determine if additional scraping and sanding is required.
Resident can assist our clearing operations by keeping vehicles off the street to provide snow clearing equipment room to perform their work and provide snow removal equipment space to operate.
Residents are reminded to plan additional time for their commutes and to take extra precautions when driving as they may encounter less than ideal driving conditions.
