Vacation Rental Unit Properties

Operators of Vacation Rental Units and Bed and Breakfasts are to be in possession of an active license to operate.

The following properties have all been licensed by the City.

Vacation Rental Units

VRUs are currently permitted in Niagara Falls, as per By-Law 2018-92 (PDF), By-Law 2021-99 (PDF), and By-Law 2021-57 (PDF), they must meet all three (3) of the following requirements:

  1. The VRU must be located in a Tourist Commercial (TC), General Commercial (GC) or Central Business (CB) zone. - A map of the VRU zones. (PDF)
  2. The VRU must be licensed by the City of Niagara Falls.
  3. The VRU has no more than three (3) bedrooms.
