Fire Master Plan and Community Risk Assessment
Project Description
A Fire Master Plan is an evidence-based, community-risk-driven plan that guides a fire department's priorities and objectives. The Fire Master Plan will provide the Niagara Falls Fire Department with an overall vision, direction, and guidance for delivering fire and emergency services over a 10-year period.
Community Risk Assessment is a legislated process under O.Reg 378/18 Community Risk Assessments, used to identify the level of fire protection required. It is a means of measuring the probability and consequence of an adverse effect to health, property, environment, or community, as a result of an event, activity, or operation.
