Project Description
A multi-year Infiltration and Inflow Monitoring Study for the Sanitary Sewer system tributary to the High Lift Sewage Pumping Station – includes areas south of Lundy’s Lane and Chippewa. The purpose of the study is to identify, quantify and prioritize sources of wet weather flow tributary to the High Lift Sewage Pumping Station and synthesize findings with the Sanitary Network Condition Assessment Program. This investigative work is followed by remedial works to disconnect major sources of extraneous flows to the sanitary system, including; directly connected catchbasins, storm to sanitary cross-connections, sealing of manholes susceptible to ponding and inflow, and major structural deficiencies in pipes.
