Hiring of consultant to upgrade telecommunications system to NG 9-1-1 compliance. CRTC (Canadian Radio-Television and Telecommunications Commission) has made it mandatory that all emergency service communication centers are NG 9-1-1 compliant by 2023. The City of Niagara Falls is working collaboratively with Niagara Regional Police Services and Niagara Emergency Services.
