Birthday Parties and Celebrations

• Party size: Varies depending on party option selected
• Payment: Due when you book
• Insurance: Insurance is required and can be purchased during booking. For room only: $2.16/hour, with gymnasium: $4.32/hour.
• Cleaning/damage deposit: The deposit fee will be returned after inspection. Please visit the customer service desk.
• Refunds: An administration fee is charged for cancellations received a minimum of 14 days before the event. 50% refund if cancelled 4 to 13 days before the event. 0% refund if cancelled within 72 hours of the event.
• Food and beverage: You can bring your food, non-alcoholic drinks, and a birthday cake too! No food or drink is allowed in the gymnasium or play structure.

Choose your party date and time

• Friday from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm (maximum 30 children)
• Saturday or Sunday, and one of the following time slots (maximum 15-20 children):
  • Party time option #1: 11:00 am to 1 pm
  • Party time option #2: 2:00 pm to 4 pm

Choose your party package

• Friday parties are in the Coronation Room (choose from party package A or C)
• Saturday and Sunday parties are in the Multi-Purpose F Room (choose any party package)
• Gym and play structure times are scheduled for the first hour of your party:
  • Friday from 4:30 pm to 5:30 pm
  • Saturday or Sunday Party #1: 11:00 am to 12:00 pm
  • Saturday or Sunday Party #2: 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm

1. Gale Centre: 5152 Thorold Stone Road, in the Memorial Room.  Email rentals@niagarafalls.ca or call 905-356-7521 ext. 5601 to book.
2. Chippawa Willoughby Arena: 9000 Sodom Road, in the Community Room. It is only available in the fall and winter. Email rentals@niagarafalls.ca or call 905-356-7521 ext. 5601 to book.
3. Ask us if you want something other than skating! In the spring and summer, dry rink options like ball hockey and cornhole are available at the Gale Centre.

How it works

• Bring your own skates; we do not have skates for rent
• Party time: You get the party room rental for 3 hours with your ice time
• Food and beverages: Varies by location:
  • Gale Centre: Order food exclusively through Breakaway Concessions. You can bring your own cake.
  • Chippawa Willoughby Arena: You can bring your own food, non-alcoholic drinks, and a birthday cake

• Payment: Due when booking. HST applies.

Skating safety rules

• Protective CSA-approved helmets are recommended for everyone to wear
• At least two adults per 10 children on the ice
• No rough play or racing
• Report any accidents or injuries
• Be kind and respectful to everyone
• No food or drinks on the ice surface
