Mark your calendars and join us at Firemen's Park (2275 Dorchester Road) for a free admission Canada Day celebration event.


Canada Day 2026

Wednesday, July 1, 2026, 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm

We are excited to announce that the 2026 event will be extended until 8:00 pm. Enjoy the same energy and excitement you're accustomed to at a Canada Day celebration in Niagara Falls, as the festival event format continues at the beautiful Firemen's Park.

With free shuttle buses to and from the event.

What to do

There will be live music and entertainment, interactive kids' shows, activities for all ages, food trucks, community booths, artisans, vendors, inflatables and axe throwing, kids crafts, celebratory cake and more!

  • 12:00 pm – National Anthem and Land Acknowledgement
  • 12:10 pm – Niagara Zest for Zumba (dance)
  • 12:40 pm – Niagara Falls Youth Performance (music)
  • 1:15 pm – Starla Silvestri (music)
  • 2:15 pm – Filipino Canadian Cultural Group (music & dance)
  • 2:50 pm – Irish Millie (music)
  • 3:50 pm – Niagara African Caribbean Cultural Organization (music & dance)
  • 4:30 pm – Mage (music)
  • 5:30 pm – Andy Colonico (music)
  • 6:30 pm until event closes at 8:00 pm – Mystic Highway - CCR Tribute Band (music)

  • 12:00 pm - Mad Science Demonstration
  • 1:00 pm - Singalong and meet and greet with your favourite Toys from Andy’s Room
  • 2:00 pm - Bubble Show with Miss T the Bubble Queen
  • 3:00 pm - Singalong and meet and greet with K Pop Stars
  • 4:00 pm – Birds of Prey Show with the Canadian Raptor Conservancy
  • 5:00 pm - Magic Show with Scoop McCoy
  • Other Kids Zone entertainment includes: Inflatables, Rock Climbing Wall, Lego Zone, Soccer and Basketball activations, Community Organization Booths and the Niagara Falls Public Library Bookmobile.

Grab lunch, dinner or a snack; there is a wide variety of choices for this year’s event!

Some vendors will have alternative choices, including gluten-free, vegetarian, vegan or halal options. Please check with the vendor directly to confirm options. Most food vendors have non-alcoholic beverage options. The SCVFA is serving alcoholic beverages from the concession stand. Pop inside for a free slice of celebratory cake (while supplies last).

  • Grizzly cheese (grilled cheese with toppings and sides) – Gluten-free and vegetarian options
  • Andrzejewski Perogi Shop (perogi and cabbage rolls)
  • Smoke and Moonshine BBQ (BBQ meats, sandwiches and sides) – Gluten-free options
  • 905 Hot Dog Pound (hot dog, burger, fries) – Vegetarian option
  • Soups & Things (sandwiches, sausages and sides) - Gluten-free and vegetarian options
  • Banh Theory (sandwiches, rice bowl, spring rolls/dumplings) – Halal option
  • Fiesta Empanada (empanadas and tacos) – Gluten-free, vegetarian and halal options
  • The Red Chip Wagon (fries and poutine) - Gluten-free, vegetarian, vegan and halal options
  • CreekSides Ice Cream (ice cream) - Gluten-free and dairy-free options
  • Classic Treats Ice Cream (ice cream)
  • Sining Café (baked goods)
  • BeaverTails (Beavertail fried dough pastries with toppings) – Vegan option
  • Lemonada (non-alcoholic lemonades)

What to bring/not bring

  • Wear your best red outfit, and bring a hat, sunscreen, bug spray and a picnic blanket
  • Stay hydrated! Bring your reusable water bottle to fill up at our filling station. 
  • Project Share will be collecting non-perishable food items
  • Guests are encouraged to leave pets at home, unless they are guide dogs or service animals
  • There is no smoking, vaping or cannabis allowed in the park. Alcoholic beverages must be purchased on-site. 

Parking and shuttle

Limited on-site parking is available for a $10.00 donation. All funds received will support The SCVFA and the United Way of Niagara. All parking at the shuttle bus stops is free! Please plan to take the shuttle

Niagara Region Transit will run a free and accessible shuttle service; just look for shuttle signs at the locations listed below. Full schedules will be posted in the bus shelters the week of the event. Parking at all shuttle bus stops is free! 

Shuttle stops are available at the following locations:

  • Niagara Falls Transit Downtown Hub
  • The Gale Centre
  • Main & Ferry
  • Canadian Drive (Niagara Square)
  • The MacBain Community Centre.

Those travelling to the shuttle planning to park and ride are encouraged to use the Gale Centre stop, as it is the fastest and most convenient. Please note that there is no longer a stop at Club Italia. Those requiring door-to-door specialized transit service are asked to pre-book their appointment.

South Route: Departing Niagara Square/Canadian Drive Hub at 11:30 am, departures every 30 minutes, including a stop at the MacBain Centre. The final shuttle leaves Firemen’s Park at 8:30 pm.

Downtown Route: Departing Niagara Falls Transit Hub beginning at 11:45 am every 30 minutes, including a stop at the Gale Centre. The final shuttle leaves Firemen’s Park at 8:45 pm.

Main & Ferry Route: Departing from Main & Ferry at 11:45 am, with departures every hour, including a stop at the Gale centre. The final shuttle leaves Firemen's Park at 8:10 pm.

The City is seeking volunteers to support the 2026 Canada Day celebrations! A variety of positions will be available.

Vendor opportunities

Community booth vendors

Seeking applications from local sports organizations, non-profits, and community services until the application deadline of June 10, 2026. Community Booths are not intended to sell any refreshments, products or services. The fee for this booth type is $35, including taxes. Commercial or artisan vendors

Seeking Niagara Regional businesses, marketing firms, artisans and handmade vendors until the application deadline of June 10, 2026. The fee for this booth type is $100, including taxes. You can find more details and requirements on the Commercial or Artisan Vendor Application.

Canada Day food vendors and entertainers

Due to an abundance of interest, we will not be seeking any additional applications for Canada Day food vendors or entertainers for the 2026 event.

Annual applications are available in January of that year, and we would encourage you to apply early in 2027 for consideration.
