On August 30, 2025, various roadways in the downtown core will be closed to facilitate the 2025 Carifalls Niagara Falls Multicultural Caribbean Carnival/Parade. The closures will impact the following roadway segments:
- Valley Way between Huron Street and Queen Street (south side of Valley Way ONLY): 10:00AM until 12:00PM.
- Queen Street between Valley Way and Ontario Avenue: 11:30Am until parade end at 2:00PM.
- St. Clair Avenue between Queen Street and Park Street: 11:30Am until parade end at 2:00PM.
- Ontario Avenue between Queen Street and Park Street: 11:30Am until parade end at 2:00PM.
- Park Street between Crysler Avenue and Ontario Avenue: 11:30Am until parade end at 2:00PM.
- Queen Street between Crysler Avenue and St. Clair Avenue: 8:00AM to 11:30PM.
As a result, certain road segments may be entirely inaccessible within the specified time frames. Transit operations on Queen Street and Park Street will also be disrupted, with transit routes likely detoured onto neighbouring roadways.
