On October 27, 2024 between the morning hour of 7:00AM and evening hour of 7:00PM, numerous roadway closures in the Chippawa area will take affect to facilitate the Niagara Falls International Marathon. Affected roadways include Macklem Street, Portage Road, the Weightman Bridge, Bridgewater Street. Access to Niagara River Parkway from Portage Road/Macklem Street will not be permitted due to a full closure of this intersection.
