Please be advised that Niagara Region will be performing a water main repair on Peer Lane at Stanley Avenue. This work will be beginning Tuesday April 23rd starting at 7:00am
Due to the extensive restoration work that must be undertaken to repair the water main, Peer Lane will be CLOSED from Stanley Avenue to Allendale Avenue.
NO Emergency access will be available during this repair.
Also Stanley Avenue will have 1 South bound lane closed at Peer Lane.
Water interruptions will occur on Peer Lane, from Stanley Avenue to Allandale Avenue as well as Peer Street from Allendale Avenue to Grey Avenue.
Discolored water may be expected on Stanley Avenue, from Ferry Street to Murray Street.
This road closure and water interruption have an expected duration of approximately 12 to 16 hours.
The water may be slightly discoloured and off tasting after the interruption. This will disappear shortly after resuming use of the water. Running your cold water tap only, will help resolve the problem.
The City of Niagara Falls and Niagara Region will make every effort to minimize the restoration time and appreciates your patience.
