The revised application for a draft plan of subdivision is to divide 3.75 hectares of land into 47 detached dwelling lots, 2 blocks for 8 on-street townhouse dwelling units, and one block for 12 block townhouse dwelling units; as well as, blocks for road widening, stormwater management access, and landscaping.
The portion indicated as “Other Lands Owned by Applicant” will not be developed at this time. The revised application removed proposed apartment building) block and reduced the number of block townhouse units by 2.
A revised zoning by-law amendment application has also been submitted to facilitate the proposed development of the subdivision.
The land is zoned Development Holding (DH), in part, and Tourist Commercial (TC), in part, by Zoning By-law No. 79-200.
The zoning by-law amendment is requesting to place: the single detached lots under a site specific Residential 1F Density (RIF) zone, the proposed on-street townhouse dwellings under a site specific Residential Mixed (R3) zone, the proposed block townhouse dwellings under a site specific Residential Low Density, Grouped Multiple Dwellings (R4) zone, and the proposed landscaping block and stormwater management block under the Open Space (OS) zone
