Smoke Testing of the Sanitary Sewer System City of Niagara Falls

The City of Niagara Falls has retained GM BluePlan Engineering to complete smoke testing in parts of the City.

Smoke testing consists of blowing smoke into the sewers and canvass the area above ground and document locations where smoke is observed (e.g. from catch basins). The smoke used in the test has no odour, is not harmful to your health, and will disappear within minutes.

Testing is expected to begin on October 13, 2020 and last two (2) weeks.
