The Spooky Awards Halloween decorating competition returns for October 2024

NIAGARA FALLS, ON -  Show off your boo-tiful outdoor Halloween display and earn bragging rights in your neighbourhood – the City of Niagara Falls’ annual Spooky Awards competition is back for 2024.

The Spooky Awards is a free, outdoor, Halloween-themed decorating competition open to Niagara Falls residents. In 2023, over 50 properties participated in the competition.

Altogether, nine awards will be issued to our spookiest residents across three categories: Judges' Favourite, Best Effects, and People's Choice. Prizes include gift cards worth up to $100, commemorative lawn plaques, and 1st place winners receive a Spooky Trophy!
