NIAGARA FALLS, ON - Calling all artists! The City of Niagara Falls Art Exhibition will be held at The Exchange Atrium Gallery at 5943 Sylvia Place from Tuesday, September 10 to Saturday, September 28, 2024.
Presented by the Niagara Falls Culture Committee, the competition is open to all Niagara Falls residents aged 18 and over. There is no entry fee; however, all participants must register by August 23, 2024.
Artwork can be submitted in any medium except sculpture, such as painting, drawing, photography, fibre, or digital art. Pieces must be delivered to Mahtay Café at the Exchange on Saturday, September 7, from 10 am to 3 pm and collected on Sunday, September 29, 2024, from 10 am to 3 pm.
A $1000 cash award will be given for each of the following categories:
- Best in Show
- Mayor’s Selection
- People’s Choice Award
An exhibition of all artworks will be open to the public beginning September 10 during regular Exchange hours. There is no fee to enter the gallery.
The Awards ceremony will be held in the Market Hall at The Exchange on Friday, September 27, from 7 to 9 pm. People's Choice voting will close on Sunday, September 22, at 4 pm. Votes for People's Choice will be shared digitally on-site.
