NIAGARA FALLS, ON - The City of Niagara Falls, in partnership with the Canada Summer Games and the Greater Niagara Baseball Association (GNBA), is thrilled to unveil plans for a comprehensive upgrade of WL Houck Park, located at 5709 Valley Way. This venture is set to introduce a state-of-the-art batting tunnel facility, a cutting-edge plyometric warm-up station, a pitching mound bullpen, and an all-new multi-use court space, including a pickleball court, for the enjoyment of neighbouring residents and community members.

The initiative, aimed at enhancing several of the park's current offerings, will revitalize the GNBA's batting tunnel facility and the existing tennis court space. Installing a new multi-use sports court will maintain the neighbourhood's amenity space, catering to diverse user groups.

The City invites feedback and participation from those poised to benefit from these upcoming amenities. This project represents a significant investment in the community's recreational infrastructure and underscores the collaborative spirit among the City of Niagara Falls, the Canada Summer Games, and the GNBA.

Residents are encouraged to stay tuned for further updates and to share feedback about the exciting developments at WL Houck Park. Visit letstalk.niagarafalls.ca/wl-houck-park-improvements to have your say! The public engagement will run until Monday, June 10.
