Minglestreams was the name of the house built as a summer artists studio for Claire Shuttleworth. From here she painted many pictures of the Niagara River. Claire Shuttleworth was born in 1867 in Buffalo New York She painted sketched and exhibited throughout the United States, Canada and Europe, a product of thorough academic training. She worked in oils, watercolours and pencil. Died in Buffalo in 1930, aged 63. .
