Architectural Notes
THE WINDOWS OF THE UPPER FLOOR CHARACTERIZE THIS BUILDING AS ROMANESQUE REVIVAL STYLE. THE WINDOWS HAVE A MASSSIVE ROUND HEADED DESIGN, EMPHASIZED WITH BRICK ARCHES AND RAISED STRING COURSE WHICH EXTENDS ACROSS THE FACADE. THE REMOVAL OF THE HIGH CORNICE AT THE TOP GIVES THIS BUILDING A SLIGHTLY TRUNCATED APPEARANCE. AN EARLY SHOP FRONT REMAINS WITH RECESSED PANELS BELOW. The Building was demolished in June 1999.
