    Whether you are an owner, tenant, neighbour or anyone looking for a copy of a fire report, a Freedom of Information request must be made to the Clerks Department at City Hall. The Niagara Falls Fire Department will not release any fire report regardless of the nature of the request without this processing being done.

  • 3. I am purchasing a property and require a file search on the respective property - how can I obtain this?

    A request for a file search can be obtained directly through the Fire Prevention Office. For this request to be completed, The Fire Prevention Office requires written authorization from the property owner or a copy of the Offer to Purchase stating that a file search be conducted. If an inspection is being requested, written authorization from the property owner must be provided. For both File Search and Inspection, applicable charges must be paid in full prior to the request being processed.
