Facility Rentals

Looking for the perfect space for your next event? The City of Niagara Falls offers a wide variety of facilities for rent - including skating rinks, courts, gymnasiums, parks, sports fields, and meeting rooms.

Whether you're planning a tournament, community gathering, or private celebration, we have a space to suit your needs. For a creative or cultural atmosphere, consider hosting your event at the Niagara Falls History Museum or the Exchange.

All City facilities are smoke-free.


 

Types of facility rentals

Location: MacBain Community Centre, 7150 Montrose Road.

Our full-sized gym can be rented as a whole or divided into thirds.

  • HST applies to all gym rentals
  • You must provide insurance or purchase it through the City of Niagara Falls
  • Not-for-profit organizations can rent at half the regular rate (some restrictions apply)
  • Equipment rentals are available for gym activities. Contact us for details

How to book the gymnasium

You can book the gymnasium in a few easy ways:

Book a rink for games, practices, hockey school, skating instruction, tournaments or special events.

We offer professional-quality ice surfaces for sports and events. Our two arenas in Niagara Falls have five ice surfaces in total. We also have rooms to rent in the arenas.

The MacBain Community Centre currently has two Racquetball Courts and one Squash Court available. You can book the courts for an hourly fee, plus insurance, or drop in during available times.

We offer several multi-purpose rooms for events like meetings, conferences, workshops, birthdays, showers, and more. Special times and rates apply for birthday parties and celebrations.

You can rent these park spaces for your special event. Park rentals do not include athletic fields.

When you can rent: Parks can be rented from May to October unless noted otherwise.

Want to play a game or host a tournament? You can book a sports field by the hour or for the day. We have grass and turf fields for soccer, baseball, football, cricket, and a track at Oakes Park that you can book for track and field events.

Smoke and vape-free facilities

The City of Niagara Falls is smoke and vape-free across all parks, recreational facilities, city buildings and parking lots. This includes areas around playing fields, playgrounds, pools, splash pads, trails, and parking lots.
