Commemorative Bench and Tree Program
Looking for a meaningful way to honour a loved one, celebrate a special accomplishment, or give back to your community? The City of Niagara Falls’ Commemorative Bench and Tree Program lets you create a lasting tribute while enhancing the beauty of our parks, trails, and cemeteries.
How it works
Your donation helps green our city and provides places for reflection and enjoyment. Whether you’re marking a milestone like a birth, graduation, wedding, retirement or remembering someone special, your gift will leave a legacy for generations.
You can choose a bench or tree that best reflects your tribute. We are happy to discuss ideas with you and answer any questions.
- Choose a standard park bench, or select a butterfly bench for the Children's Memorial Walkway
- Pick a preferred tree species from a variety of options
- Select your location preference, such as a specific park, trail, cemetery or the Children's Memorial Walkway. The City will review and approve the final location of trees and benches.
