Our public art goals
Every public art project and acquisition in Niagara Falls is planned with clear goals in mind:
- Provide access to art in public places for all of Niagara Falls’ citizens
- Honour, preserve and encourage our cultural heritage and artistic diversity
- Promote civic identity through awareness and preservation of the community’s history, cultures and living arts
Public Art Advisory Task Force (PAATF)
The Public Art Advisory Task Force helps guide public art in our city. This group reflects the diversity of our community and works closely with City staff. They review all public art project applications using set selection criteria to ensure every piece supports our goals.
